First Choice Financial Management Ltd was set up in 1995 by Alex Murphy, following previous experience at The MI Group and at Legal & General. Alex was invited to join St. James's Place in October 2010.

Alex is an advocate of ‘Pearson’s Law’ which is :

I use this in all areas of my life whether it is health, family and home life or business and having this mantra in my sub conscious at all times helps me personally and in my business life raise the bar in looking after my clients and delivering on going results in helping them achieve their goals and targets.

Alex is an active supporter of the St. James's Place Charitable Foundation which helps many charities in the UK and abroad.
